As the groom to be honest I was skeptical of getting a wedding coordinator in the first place but Ashlee absolutely blew it out of the water. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day, all I did was show up and party! The one single issue that did come up (someone showing up that wasn’t invited lol) Ashlee handled it quickly and quietly. My husband and I reached out to Paige about three months into planning. We thought we could take on the entire planning process on our own but we both have incredibly busy work schedules! Paige was very knowledgeable during our first meeting and we knew right away we wanted her help. During the planning she kept us on schedule with custom schedules and reminder emails. On the day of our wedding she was so organized and had awesome energy! Before I got engaged, I never spent a whole lot of time or energy thinking about what my potential wedding day would entail. As soon as we got engaged I was getting bombarded with questions from family, friends and coworkers about our upcoming wedding that we didn’t even have a set date for. Flash forward after securing our venue, I knew, as a Type A person but also pretty calm bride, I wouldn’t be able to juggle our vendors, nor know all the important day-of questions - I knew I wanted coordinators. Little did I know Catherine and Caylynn would help us to fulfill the most incredible and (most importantly) seamless wedding day. I genuinely had zero stress on my one day as a bride. And I stress, one day, because it’s monumental and something we planned for 12 months and it comes and goes so fast. We started working with a Caylynn and Catherine about 4 months out - we had an initial call where we got to know one another and our vision for our big day and from there (1) hour long call each month leading up to our date. My husband and I set up a call with our DJ 3 weeks out and he got on our call having already talked with Catherine! It was in that exact moment I knew we made the right decision to add them to our team. They delivered on everything they said they would do, they were highly communicative and accessible. Did I mention we live in Miami and had our wedding in Dallas? They we accommodating to doing everything virtually since we were not local and made adjustments when time zones were challenging. I could go on and on but if you were wondering if budgeting for wedding coordinators was worth it, with Joie de Vivre Events, it 100% is.
