Unfortunately I never met him but I was so inspired by his work that I too started my journey in 2004. I greatly love the beauty of nature and wildlife as well as telling people's stories. When I went to school for visual arts, my teachers have taught me the fundamentals of composition, conveying emotion and again, most importantly telling a story. And that's exactly what I love doing when I take pictures!

Ray earned his Bachelors Degree in Photography from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. He first began photographing weddings in 1992 in the midst of also pursuing a promising career in Hollywood as a cameraman. Photographing weddings as an associate photographer for many accomplished photo studios, he finally began Ray Anthony Photography in 2002 in Michigan. Ray has become one of Metro Detroit's most reputable photographers and has earned "preferred vendor" status at many of the top venues in the area.
