Wedding videography all started with making short films with friends in college and realizing how much I love the process of producing video content. Although not nearly as exhilarating as filming through the night or in the heat of a desert on a cliff with incredibly talented friends pushing each other to learn and grow, I still get to experience the pre-production, production, and post-production of a film shoot.

I am an intimate wedding and elopement filmmaker and photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m married to my life-long adventure partner, Josue (Sway for short), and we have a 2-year-old golden doodle, Murphy, who is our whole world. When I’m not creating art, I can be found tending to my enormous plant collection, catching up on the latest episode of This is Us, serving on my church worship team, or hanging at the dog park. I’m passionate about documenting the ‘in-between’ moments of life. I thrive on intimate, emotional moments and I feel it’s my purpose in life to preserve people’s stories through my art.

I have always loved filmmaking! Yep, in school I was the nerd running around with a video camera in my hand everywhere I went. While the jocks and cheerleaders were doing what they do, I was the one editing their videos for the broadcast journalism class. I had no idea I would love creating wedding films until I actually fell in love myself. Our wedding business started out with me shooting a wedding video for a very dear friend of mine in 2017. I posted the video to a Facebook business page and BOOM! It received 200,000 views and we started receiving hundreds of inquiries from couples around the PNW. Every year I would book 30-40 weddings doing photo and video for couples. When COVID struck, we had a year crashing into the next year. We had to adapt. So I grew our company to 8 teams of pro photographers/videographers to cover weddings around the US. There is nothing better than capturing love on the biggest day ever. Every day we are thankful to be able to do this.
