Her journey started at the age of six years old, Melissa-May was surrounded by all aspects of creativity. Her ability to visualize things, put them onto paper and create anything from scratch was also apparent at a young age when she completed an illustration of her dream house, then constructed an entire floor plan and a model house made out of popsicle sticks. Furthermore, at the age of 12, her friend’s mother noticed Melissa-May’s gift of artistry and requested that she create cartoon place cards for her daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. Amy started working as a grocery store floral designer in 1991. Amy then went on to get a plant science degree from the University of Delaware. Amber, (being 8 years younger than Amy) had no choice but to learn how to design flowers when Amy opened a flower shop in 2000. The shop closed after Amy moved.
