Hi, I'm Heather Rouillard, owner and designer of Flower Girl Wedding Designs. I studied Horticulture in college. I took a floral design class as an elective, and fell in love! Once I graduated from college, I became a landscape designer/gardener but still has a passion for arranging flowers for weddings and events.

At Moonset Farm Florals we design and implement all floral components for weddings and events, featuring our local and home grown flowers and greens. Over half of our flowers and greens used in our designs are provided by our farm. Moonset Farm Florals is known for romantic and naturally inspired creations showcasing the unique personalities of the wedding couple, significance of an event and distinction of the venue. Jackie works intimately with the wedding couple and planners to create a truly memorable and special occasion.

Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

My business started when I was planning my own wedding. I love flowers, but we couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands on real flowers to throw them away in a week when we also found out we were expecting our first child at the same time. In came wood flowers! After much practice, I discovered I have an eye for colors and floral design and now 4 years and MANY weddings and THOUSANDS of home decor pieces later, this is not only my passion but it is also my full time business.
