Working with Amy and Elegant Floral Creations was a dream. From our first call, we could tell that Amy understood us, cared about our vision for our big day, and had so many good ideas and plans for how to execute them, even with our highly unconventional venue. With so many things to manage and figure out and decide on in our wedding process, Amy was the first and best decision we made. Working with Amy set the standard for how we wanted to feel about all of our vendors, and at the lowest points where we felt completely overwhelmed with planning, Amy made us feel like everything was going to be perfect and beautiful. Even though I felt completely confident in her ability to pull it off, I was still floored by how gorgeous everything looked in the end, and we got so many compliments about the flowers and the installations she made. Amy and EFC were worth every penny and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Lilysh

5.0

Newburgh, NY
  • Starts at $9,000

My business started with decoration my own wedding 5 years ago. Since then I decorated numerous event both in US and Europe. I'm focused on creating modern natural arrangements using a sustainable approach. We are completely foam free, use as many local flowers as possible and constantly looking for more sustainable practices we can bring into our business.

Awarded Best of Zola
In the quest for a florist for our wedding, I had a crystal-clear vision – whimsical, unique, and undeniably beautiful. When I found Lilysh Studio and discovered they not only embodied the exact style I envisioned but also championed sustainability, I knew I had to work with Liliya. The only thing left was to cross my fingers that she was available for our big day! From the get-go, Liliya was a dream to work with – responsive, kind, and up for any big asks I threw her way. When we finally met in person, her genuine excitement for the project radiated, making us feel truly special despite knowing she had multiple weddings in the pipeline. The proposal she presented for our wedding left me teary-eyed. It was like she had taken my thoughts and turned them into a PowerPoint masterpiece. As the day unfolded, I was genuinely awestruck by how beautifully everything came together. I had a specific vision for a hanging floral chuppah for the ceremony, fearing it might be too ambitious. However, Liliya not only accepted the challenge but crafted the most breathtaking installation. Cue the happy tears as I held the stunning flowers she sourced– everything was beyond perfect. I can't sing Liliya's praises enough, and I'll undoubtedly hire her again and again for anything I can. She not only creates floral magic but is also an incredibly kind and wonderful person I'd love to work with in the future. We're beyond grateful for the magical florals and for turning our big day into the most perfect celebration. Thank you, a million times, over!

Flora Good Times

5.0

Beacon, NY
  • Starts at $5,000

**The best way to reach us is directly through our website! We do not use Zola's booking system** Flora Good Times is a studio with play and celebration at its core. Flowers are a powerful medium for setting a mood and telling a story. We are driven to elevate your event with flowers and feeling. Our focus is to provide your celebration with the joy and bounty that only flowers can bring.

Corinne (owner and founder of Flora Good Times) took on the flowers for our wedding just as her business was getting off the ground, but you would never know it. Her professionalism, sophistication, and creativity is unmatched. The vision board she created after our first phone call captured the spirit of our style better than my partner and I had articulated, and influenced other design decisions made. When we visited the venue together, she took my abstract thoughts (e.g. I'm thinking purple tablecloths) and brought them to life (e.g. the purple tablecloths work paired with turquoise ones and the right flowers... it sounds crazy, but it was GORGEOUS). The arrangements she created brought the whole event to the next level. We've never seen anything like them at a wedding or any event, and people are still talking about them two years later. Because of our experience with Flora Good Times, our advice to couples getting married is not to cut corners on the flower budget. We can't recommend this amazing team highly enough.

VDL Brothers

5.0

Rhinebeck, NY

VDL Brothers began as a farm with a single grower dreaming of providing locally grown, beautiful flowers. Now, we are bringing the produce of that farm to couples who are looking for fresh florals designed with a romantic, whimsical touch. We love to create soft, flowing bouquets, nature inspired arches, creative statement bar pieces, and installations. We have very limited seasonal availability, dedicating our time to two events per month.

Sonja and her team were fantastic from start to finish. She immediately understood our vision and shared a mood board that was exactly in line with what we were looking for. The flowers on the day of were fresh and elegant and it meant so much knowing they were local to our venue and where I grew up. Highly recommend for your next wedding or event.

    Fountainhead Floral Design

    5.0

    Milford, CT
    • Starts at $3,000
    • Serves Mahopac, NY

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

    Awarded Best of Zola
Kate did an amazing job with my flowers. Every centerpiece and bouquet and boutonniere was exactly what I envisioned and described during our planning meeting. She was communicative and I felt very confident going into the day. Everything was on-time and Kate herself was at the venue to make sure everything looked perfect before the ceremony started. 10/10 would recommend.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    5.0

    Oklahoma City, OK
    • Serves Mahopac, NY

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
This is the best flower vendor ever! They truly care about customer service and making sure you are pleased for your important day! I made a mistake with the dates and they were so accommodating and helped me figure everything out. Especially Luis! I highly recommend Flower Moxie to everyone!
