Welcome to Alber Orchard & Freedom Winery. Only 30 minutes west of Ann Arbor or an hour from Detroit, our beautiful orchard provides a perfect country get-away in the rolling hills of Manchester, Michigan. This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill. Today's owners, Mike and Therese Bossory, are preserving the centennial orchard, gazebo, barns, and cider press to assure your family or special group with a clean, safe, relaxing time on the farm. Alber Orchard is also the ideal location for your wedding or special event, and we look forward to hearing from you. The orchard is a gorgeous setting at any time of the year, and our preferred vendors are extraordinary.

Zingerman's Cornman Farms is a multi-award winning wedding venue, culinary destination and picturesque farm nestled in the countryside outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan. With sprawling fields, lush gardens and historic buildings set on 27 acres of pastoral beauty, our estate offers a warm and inspiring atmosphere for celebrations of all kinds. Our venues offer both bespoke and all-inclusive wedding packages for 2 to 75 guests. To make each couples’ vision a reality, our professional team of event producers will work closely alongside the couples throughout the planning process. Our in-house catering team is led by Cornman Farms' executive chef and co-owner, Kieron Hales. Chef Kieron's posts have included the three star Paul Bocuse in France and Dal Pescatore in Italy, as well as cooking for the British Royal family and three U.S. Presidents.

The championship golf course provides a gorgeous backdrop whether you're celebrating indoors or out. You'll also have a choice of multiple ceremony and reception sites, all of which are surrounded by lush lawns and thick groves of trees. Natural light fills the banquet room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This versatile space includes a large wood dance floor, and it adjoins an open-air patio, a tented area, and an outdoor tiki bar, making it easy for guests to mingle beneath the stars in the evening. You can choose from a plated or buffet dinner menu, both of which feature delicious classic entrées, skillfully prepared in-house. Chiavari chairs, tables, settings, and more come with all packages, and convenient add-ons such as centerpieces make planning simple and seamless.

About Roostertail Established in 1958, Roostertail is a well-known wedding venue in Detroit, Michigan. Bordering the Detroit River marina, its various banquet halls boast a tasteful blend of modern and industrial styles. Panoramic glass walls adorn every floor of the building, with private entrances leading to patios and balconies. Here you can celebrate your nuptials in the same venue that hosted special guests like Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, and The Rolling Stones. Facilities and Capacity Roostertail has direct marina access with awe-inspiring views that set the stage for its two outdoor ceremony spaces, the deck, and the side patio. For indoor receptions, couples can choose between three rooms to suit either intimate gatherings or sizable celebrations.

Each location resides within walking distance in the quaint town of Holly, known as Oakland County’s home for antique boutiques, historical landmarks and frequent train whistles. Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season. Pine Knob Mansion is situated on an elegant estate in the woodlands of Clarkston, Michigan. Unique touches include stone walls hung with swords and shields, lavish chandeliers and carved wood paneling. The Mansion’s maximum capacity is 150 guests. Built in 1927, this chic building has a more contemporary style. It has a granite-topped bar, both white and dark wood columns and crystal chandeliers. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view of the golf course. The Carriage House is our larger venue hosting up to 280 guests with it's own covered outdoor pavilion perfect for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or outdoor dancing.
