Featuring a covered bridge, bonfire area, and your choice of 4 ceremony sites: the dock on the river with willow trees, the garden courtyard with a picket fence, the woodlands, and the prairie field. Stay the weekend in our well-appointed, 3-bedroom federal-style home. Pets can stay too! Conveniently located and close to hotels in Fenton, MI. Being on private property will allow you to choose any caterer or vendor you wish to use. This allows you the freedom to decorate creatively and chose your own menu. Bring in food carts! Craft Beer Vendors! Ice Cream trucks! If you don't want to DIY, don't worry — our preferred vendors are happy to put a package together for you and take care of your every need. Welcome to Alber Orchard & Freedom Winery. Only 30 minutes west of Ann Arbor or an hour from Detroit, our beautiful orchard provides a perfect country get-away in the rolling hills of Manchester, Michigan. This beautiful land was deeded in 1832 by President Andrew Jackson, and acquired by John Alber in 1881 to operate as an orchard and cider mill. Today's owners, Mike and Therese Bossory, are preserving the centennial orchard, gazebo, barns, and cider press to assure your family or special group with a clean, safe, relaxing time on the farm. Alber Orchard is also the ideal location for your wedding or special event, and we look forward to hearing from you. The orchard is a gorgeous setting at any time of the year, and our preferred vendors are extraordinary.

When you rent the entire facility you'll have complete privacy and connection with your closest family and friends. Stone Chalet is only available for weddings under 100. The spaces at Stone Chalet are very flexible and each wedding party has shown us how creative people can be with the use of all the spaces.
