Hello there! I’m Jessica Burke. I got into wedding photography in 1996 and I’ve photographed so many weddings I’ve lost count. Ok, I never really kept count, but it has to be approaching 1,000 if not more. Bottom line I’ve been doing this a long time and I’m pretty good at it, if I do say so myself (insert winky face emoji here).

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Film brought art back to photography — having control over the film stock, using particular cameras for different reasons, doing double exposures with film blindly, souping film and customizing the development process to the wedding, and so much more. And through film, I embrace the imperfections of weddings — following along with your flow of the day and natural interactions of your friends and family. Capturing your wedding story as it happens is always the priority and focus.

I’ve been doing photography since 2012. There has definitely been a lot of growth and sold cameras through out the years. I’m 100% self taught and I believe that shows in my work. I’m a learn by doing type person. I’m an introvert and somewhat reserved, but I can guarantee I will make some stupid joke that will make you laugh. I enjoy natural light and playing with the sun. I’m a big fan of the unconventional photos that most photographers say no to. I love love. It doesn’t matter who you are, who you love, I want to tell your love story.

We are passionate about photographing kind-hearted people who are unapologetically themselves, and creating a safe and beautiful space in the wedding world for LGBTQ+ folx. Our favorite people to work with believe in giving back to their communities, that black lives always matter, that climate change is you know...real, and choose to embrace their own unique quirks and talents.

I specialize in weddings and boudoir. I view those two as the most personal and intimate types of photography and you should have someone who you can trust to be there for you and make the uncomfortable, comfortable!
