We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

Hello and Welcome to The Bun Bar! I’m Savannah, the creator, and brains behind the buns. Before you order our sweet and savory buns for your next event, let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago and a recent grad of the University of Iowa. My love for all things food doesn’t have a starting point, it has always been part of my life. I started The Bun Bar in hopes of sharing my love of baking with others. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy customers and bringing people together to enjoy a sweet treat!

Thank you for taking the time to visit Sweet Cakes by Erica. My name is Erica Marshall and I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful children, Alyssa and Christian. Though my two little ones are a handful in themselves, I love experimenting in the kitchen mixing and matching ingredients and creating my own specialty recipes. In my spare time, I also enjoy spending time with friends, family, shopping and working out (good thing because I love to eat).

Owner and Pastry Chef of The Cake Artist's Studio, Ashlee Roderick Freburg , is one of Central Illinois's foremost cake designers. In 1995, Ashlee received an A.O.S. Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Ashlee has also studied under master sugar artists Ewald and Susan Notter of The International School of Confectionery Arts and professional cake designer and winner of a gold medal at the 1988 Culinary Olympics, Betty Van Norstrand.
