Even before we became professionals we would often be found with a camera in hand trying to capture something amazing.

I’m Katy, a Michigan based wedding + event photographer. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2016. My love for photography started out when I was about 6 years old. I’m a huge goofball, so if you’ve ever thought “I’ll be too awkward in photos," I know what you mean. We can be goofballs together, and I promise I won’t let you look awkward in any of your photos. A little more about me: I'm a foodie. Send bar/restaurant recommendations please! I spend a good portion of my time at concerts when I'm not photographing anything. I'm also a HUUUUGE Detroit Red Wings fan, if you're into any of that, we'll get along great!

Hi! It's nice to meet you. I would shake your hand, but I'm more of a fist-bump type of gal. 😃 I have worked full-time as a math and special education teacher for over 20 years, and nearing my 40's, decided to pursue photography since it has been a life-long interest of mine. In 2019, I completed a digital photography degree and while it originally started as a hobby, my work gained a following so I decided to make things official in 2020. Over the past couple of years, my focus has been on photographing families in addition to couples in love. Getting a couple who's madly in love in front of your camera is pure magic!

I started my photography journey at the end of 2014, and am entirely self-taught. I was born and raised in Traverse City, but moved down to Clio, Michigan 2 years ago! However, I continue to serve all of Michigan, as well as locations around the US and worldwide. I am a coffee obsessive (think Lorelai from Gilmore Girls) with a joy for nature + traveling. I love reading, all genres of music (sucker for Luke Combs, Elvis, Benson Boone), true crime, cringe reality TV + psychological thrillers!

I am a travel/destination wedding photographer! I offer coverage from as small as an hour elopement, up to a full 10 hour day! I have second shooter and video highlight add on’s for my packages as well as day of bridal boudoir.
