Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

The Ghent offers both indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate up to 190 guests for any style of celebration. Our rooftop space has been fully renovated to provide comfort during any season, including heaters and fire pits for the colder months, and our indoor spaces are also newly renovated and perfect for celebrating special occasions with family and friends. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, a holiday party, a rehearsal dinner, or a corporate event, we offer a customizable menu and a comfortable atmosphere for you and your guests. Our coastal themed room is beautifully decorated with live plants and rich greens, blues and driftwood colors throughout, perfect for a beach or outdoor themed celebration. We offer customizable packages that can be adapted to fit the needs of any small to medium size event, from 10 to 75 people. 1500 sq feet of open floor plan indoor event space with an additional 800 sq feet of covered outside patio space. Seating for 75 inside plus additional outside seating. Integrated bar with award winning locally made beer, as well as wine, cider, liquor and non-alcoholic options. Technology package includes premium indoor/outdoor audio system with PA capabilities and a 125” projection video screen with HDMI and wireless connection options. Located on the shores of the York River, in historic Yorktown, Virginia. The venue offers wide views of the York River, Coleman Bridge, Gloucester shoreline and the varied boat traffic. Our food and beverage service include continental breakfasts, receptions with hosted or cash bars, an array of hors d'oeuvres, and also plated lunch and dinner menus. The menus are designed to let you create your own specific menu.
