I am a NY-based Harpist with over 18 years of experience. I have been fortunate enough to play for dozens of professional events and weddings along the East Coast. I have performed at many different events, from weddings to corporate Holiday parties to tea parties to retirement parties. Some of the locations I have been lucky to perform include the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and The Willard Intercontinental in Washington D.C. Most recently I was selected to be a featured musician on an episode of the Drew Barrymore show!

The Brooklyn Beats is the inaugural event/wedding band founded by music industry veteran, Jon Shiffman. Jon is best known for his live work as a drummer for Grammy winner Jack Antonoff in the bands Steel Train and Bleachers. He has toured all over the world and his drumming can be heard on various National TV Commercials, and is featured in the 2024 release of Paramount Pictures’ Mean Girls movie. The members of the band met in the Brooklyn jazz jam scene and have been playing with each other ever since. Hot Jazz of the 20’s consists of two guitars, string bass and jazz violin. It is reminiscent of the hot jazz sound popular in 1902’s Paris. The two most famous artists of this period are violinist Stefan Grapelli and the gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt.

THROUGH THE LINDY HIS LOVE OF EARLY JAZZ GREW, BUT HE LAMENTED THAT THERE WERE SO FEW MUSICAL GROUPS THAT SPECIALIZED AUTHENTIC PERFORMANCE OF HIS FAVORITE KIND OF MUSIC.
