I am a Chicago-based wedding photographer who loves my clients. I love telling their stories with my images. I have been in business for almost 10 years, with the past 3 of those spent capturing weddings in Hawaii. I started this business after discovering a love for all things weddings and photography as an art form. I realized the career I originally pursued wasn't exactly for me. After being diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder during grad school and barely being able to physically function, I medically withdrew from the Doctor of Physical Therapy program I was attending. Within that next year, I launched my business!

I love a good story. All types of stories. The ones that make you cry, the ones that fill you with awe, the ones that make you laugh till it hurts and yes especially love stories. I believe that your wedding story should be all these rolled up together in one. On your 5th, 15th, or even 50th wedding anniversary you should be able to look back at your wedding photos and feel all those same emotions as the day of. Those moments that are preserved forever are why I fell in love with wedding photography.

I have studied fine art photography long before I ever started taking portraits of other people and shooting weddings. Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

I am a fine art wedding photographer and wedding planner, wife, and mother to our three sweet babies! I first fell in love with photography at an early age. I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day. It was then that I fell in love with the concept of love and knew what I wanted to do. I went on to film photography in high school and digital photography in college.
