The event space includes a 6,000-square-foot Reception Hall, a 3,000-square-foot Ceremony Space with Grooms Quarters attached, and an 800-square-foot building dedicated as a Bridal Suite. It has two beautifully landscaped garden spaces that can be used for cocktail hour or ceremony spaces. The entire facility has a brick and rod iron privacy fence surrounding the property. The venue includes three historic buildings connected by beautiful cobblestone walkways, lush landscape, landscape lighting as well as cafe lights. The walk from each unique building is just as beautiful as the buildings themselves.

The Corley Mill House is an Edwardian-era home built in 1908. The house was purchased and developed into an event venue in 1997 and with the additions of banquet space and gardens in 2001, the property has evolved into a multi-faceted venue for indoor and outdoor events of all types and sizes. The house was purchased in 2020 by Pam and John Banks. We are continually upgrading all of our spaces to make them lovely, but also functional for your entire wedding party. We host over 70 weddings here a year, but only one per day. We are old fashion customer service people. Our goal is to take care of you in every phase of the process.

Charlyn Farms is a barn venue nestled inside 43 acres of mountain serenity. We have private bride and groom spaces for getting ready, 5 bathrooms, climate controlled main space as well as the bride and groom space. We have a stone patio with fireplace for after hours or cocktail hour and a prep kitchen for catering. Charlyn Farms is the ideal rustic elegant event space. Dress it up or be minimal, this space can fit any bride's wedding vision.

Bent Creek Farm is located on 52 acres of rolling pastures and wooded trails in Upstate SC. Brides have their choice of five unique sites for their ceremony including our beautiful barn and several rustic romantic outdoor private locations. Our beautiful 1800 square feet climate-controlled barn has many unique features, walking trails with trees, creeks, wildlife, birds and various plants and flowers along the edge. Fully equipped catering kitchen, Bridal Suite, Grooms Room featuring a Pool Table. Seating for 150 to 200 guests, indoor/outdoor venue. Included: • climate-controlled Barn Venue with stained glass • Use of the Bella Terrace; the Mooi outdoor Amphitheater; the romantic Waterwheel venue /rolling pasture. • Eleven 60-inch round tables and tablecloths in White, Black and Soft Gray. • 100 chairs included (indoor)• Use of the Game area that includes a nine-hole Disk Golf; Bocce Ball Court; Horseshoe Pit; 5’ Jenga; Corn hole• Fire Pit /Garden swing Paved Parking

Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is an exotic alternative to the traditional wedding venue and provides a magical backdrop for your special day! Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is home to more than 2,000 magnificent animals and provides an extraordinary setting for social events. By day, the meeting rooms and picnic areas of Riverbanks Zoo boast such unusual backdrops as elephant habitats and tropical gardens. By night, the sounds of exotic animals may be heard as guests arrive for their cocktail parties and wedding receptions. Event spaces are versatile in style and appearance, with capacities ranging from 20 to 5,000. The Hartley House (also known as the Bond-Bates-Hartley House) located in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina was built circa 1790 for John Pearson Bond. The house later came into possession of John Bates, husband of John Pearson Bond’s great niece and a member of the family that the town of Batesburg was named for. There are many local legends surrounding this house and it’s friendly visitors. According to local tradition, the Bond-Bates-Hartley House served as a stagecoach stop and post office, prior to the founding of the town of Batesburg. Architecturally the house is a typical upcountry farmhouse, with a portico adapted from the Greek Revival style.

In 1874, Father Theodore Butler purchased a home and a lot in Augusta, Georgia, for $10,000.00 to construct a building to be used as a church for the Catholic population and a school for children of all denominations. A simple Victorian structure served as a temporary facility for the church until work could begin on a larger, more significant building for the group. The first bricks were laid for Sacred Heart Church in 1897 and the church opened with the first service on December 2, 1900. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building features towering twin spires, graceful arches, fifteen distinctive styles of brickwork, ninety-four stained glass windows, a barreled vaulted ceiling, and intricately carved Italian marble altars. Unfortunately, due to a number of factors, the last mass was held in Sacred Heart on July 3, 1971.

If you prefer the Luxury of the 5000 sq foot Grand Oak Hall, you enter the from The Portico through the 10-foot, double doors carved of French Oak from the 18th century. Your seating arrangements are endless as you consider which feature creates the backdrop for you to say your vows. The hand carved, limestone fireplace adds warmth while the massive white pine beams soar overhead suspending antique wrought iron & crystal chandeliers. Enjoy the view of Lake with wrap-around windows & doors as the 30-foot glass wall is drawn open to the Veranda, offering an indoor-outdoor space. With the uniqueness of your wedding in mind, you have flexibility with your style.

Just imagine your event here at Southwind Acres. Our barn has a true rustic/chic style that can accommodate 200 seated guests and can be customized for the event of your dreams. You have the option of an outdoors ceremony where you and your guest will get pleasure in the lush flowing lawn that is surrounded by many trees and nature. You may also choose an indoor ceremony in our Mini Barn style chapel adorned with crystal chandeliers. With either option you and your guest will be enlightened with a picturesque view that will never be forgotten.
