I have always been drawn to art, especially painters. I love the use of color and light in classic compositions. After attending the Cleveland Institute of Art, photography was the perfect fit! **We are new to Zola but not new wedding photographers.** Banker Creative is a small business consisting of myself Joe, and my wife Ashley. We are a Husband + Wife Creative Team that specializes in documenting weddings. We call Ohio home, but we are grateful to have the opportunity to continue to capture weddings all over the country. So far we have worked in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Utah, Virgina, West Virginia and Washington DC. I am a travel photographer based out of Louisville, Kentucky. I have always been the friend with the camera admiring those around me. I am truly captivated by people simply being people, always finding beauty in human connections and the REAL. My goal is to be a calming presence, help the day run smooth, and ensure everyone in front of the camera feels COMFORTABLE. I lean toward documentary style photography emphasizing what makes your love unique.

I've been behind the camera more years that not. I've gotten on lots of planes, driven many miles, and gotten up before the sun for the sake of a good story. I like collaborating and telling a story that resonates true to my subjects.

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to create. My passion for photography started when I was a teen. As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. Whether it is your wedding, or any other special moment in your life, I cherish the opportunity to document it in a way that highlights the artistic elements, while still capturing an authenticness that is uniquely you.

I started my business 3 years ago when I finally listened to this passion I've had for telling stories. **We have last minute availability!** At Rustic we create beautiful portraits from your big day! We work with you side by side to make your day go as flawless as possible. Communication is key for us and we know how important it is to be there for you during the planning process. Rustic is very excited to be there with you through the fun part of planning your wedding! (We also travel a lot to Florida and other areas in the country, so we also provide destination wedding packages! Destination package pricing is determined by your destination location. We are very reasonable and just love to travel!)
