I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Aside from being a photographer, I'm also a mom to two human kids and 3 fur babies, and I've been married to my high school sweetheart/boy next door for 17 years. Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

I’m totally a kid at heart, so much so that I still have a giant stuffed shark on my bed and my favorite food will forever be cheesy fries. I’m the type of person that will say hello to every dog I meet on the street and freak out when I see a dog hanging their head out of their persons car or when I see cows grazing while driving down the backroads. I'm a huge lover of the outdoors and quiet mornings with a huge cup of coffee and reading on the balcony.

I've found that one of the most important factors in a great wedding is enjoying the people you surround yourself with. Since I will basically be your third wheel on one of the best days of your life it's important that we click well! That said, some things I’m passionate about include photography(obviously), the NBA, vinyl records, pretty movies and tv shows with no story, and a ton of other stuff. I tend to be pretty enthusiastic so if you think “I wonder if Nate is into..." I likely am!
