I'm the owner of a marketing/design agency, but I've been helping couples realize their wedding day since 1987. I mention that because I have a professional approach to weddings. A Big Ticket Sound Experience was founded in the early 90s by Mark Hardin as the DJ Service for simple for hire social events and school dances. Then, moved quickly to DJing some of the biggest clubs in SF and nearby Bay Area cities. When Mark moved to the Sacramento area, he started working at Busby Berkeley, which was a swank nightclub on the 15th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel (Downtown Sacramento). Now, A Big-Ticket Sound Experience provides quality music selection, personable emcee skills, and non-intrusive party hosting. “It is my personal goal to go above and beyond; making your wedding or social event spectacular”.

Millington Strings performs most often as a string quartet (two violins, viola, and cello). Clients occasionally request a quintet (with string bass), a trio, a duo, or even a solo performer, and we are happy to accommodate. While we frequently perform the more usual classical string quartet literature, we also perform a wide and eclectic repertoire, ranging from ragtime, blues, jazz, and opera favorites, to ethnic, pop, and rock music from all eras.
