We are based in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, but travel throughout New England to service our clients. We specialize in creative and detailed designs. I started my business as a Garden Designer in 2003 and I just love working with flowers. My business grew into holiday decorating, container gardening and designing flowers for weddings and events. So if you are in need of adding lighting to trees, shrubs or tents we can also provide that for you for a special evening ambience. We also provide many rentals from ceremony arbors, candles, candelabras, lanterns, vases and fabric for draping.

My first job in high school was at a local market florist, and the rest is history! Over 10 years in the floral industry, surrounded by so many talented artists, my love for creating and appreciating art has grown. In this time I have learned that not only am I passionate about the florals or mediums themselves, but also about the connections I’ve built through art.

I am the former owner of Bella's Floral Design and recently launched Seabreeze Floral Design to specialize exclusively in weddings and events. As the owner of Bella's Floral Design, I received 7 Best of North Shore Awards since 2018 for wedding florals and my florist. Additionally I have executed 200+ weddings at locations on the North Shore and in Boston over the past 10 years.

Seaside Peonies is a sustainable floral studio in Newburyport, growing and arranging flowers for weddings and special occasions in New England. We can provide all of your florals for your big day (Full Service option), or you can select just the florals you need from our A La Carte Flower menu. Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 15 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.
