Back in college, Greg Golden got a laugh out of his wife (then girlfriend) by suggesting that they should sell pretzels shaped like mustaches. Five years later, Greg quit his forensic accounting job to do just that. Armed with a little more then a clever slogan and a balky old box truck, Mustache Pretzels hit the streets in march 2014, and hasn’t looked back. Why mustaches? Why pretzels? Because great mustaches aren’t born – they’re bread.

I am a home baker based in Scottsdale, AZ. I have been baking for over 25 years. My passion is baking cookies. I enjoy coming up with new flavors and recipes. I truly love baking and I hope that anyone who orders my cookies loves them as much as I love baking them.

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska surrounded by weddings and events. My family owns an event venue there still. I took a detour and played professional golf for a number of years before A. Cakes was born in 2021. It was only fitting that I come full circle and work back in the wedding industry where my heart truly lies. I am in love with the process of learning, practicing and executing new and fun techniques on my clients’ cakes. More than that, creating a cake for someone’s special day gives me the most warm feeling. It’s truly why I do what I do.

I am actually a professional Wedding Photographer (On The Rocks Photography) and the "sister name" of my cookie business is Sweet Frickin' Treats... If you haven't already discovered, my name is Stacy Frick. (all of my friends affectionately call me "Frick") This whole cookie-thing started out of boredom. Wondering what I could do that excites my creative mind without being mundane and repetitive. I'm well aware that I am "late to the party" and should have started baking custom cookies about 4 years ago when they were really popular, but I feel like, who doesn't love cookies, right? She works extra hard to make your special desserts exactly how you want them! She loves setting up and delivering your special desserts to your event as well and will go above and beyond for you.

I was born and raised in a small town in the Philippines. I lived in California for 14 years and before moving to Arizona, I met my husband and my children (our lovely dogs). I started baking as far back as a little girl, with a simple interest in creating tasty treats for my family and I. Then I moved on to baking from scratch and began to appreciate the joy in producing and assembling each piece of the puzzle. Baking from scratch allows you to select not only the highest quality ingredients but it also creates a deeper connection between the baker and the food. As often happens, interest turned into a hobby, hobby turned into an obsession.

My love for baking all started when I was around 8 years old. I would always ask my grandma to help her bake and idolized the work she did. I have always been a very artsy person, and once I found out that you can express your art onto an edible canvas I was sold!
