Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves Selma, NC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I was a little concerned about doing my own flowers as I am not artistic or good at that kind of thing, but Flower Moxie made the entire process so easy!! I did a customized order so I was able to work with a professional florist to get exactly what I wanted. They were extremely helpful from picking out the flowers, to how to build them, to timelines, and everything else you needed. I 100% recommend these services! I saved so much money and had such a fun time doing it!!!

We ordered Millie and we love her! Our colors were black and white with a pop of blue and this collection was perfect. The flower swags came out a bit too late for us so we matched with the Taylor collection and it was perfect. Delivery and returns were so easy!

I knew I wanted Sola wooden flowers for my wedding but I also knew I was not creative enough to make my own. When I found my wedding venue, The Hinterland, she had a Wood and Word Blooms floral arrangement on display and I knew this was the direction I needed to go! Jen makes beautiful floral creations and she worked with me to create exactly what I had pictured! Jen was easy to work with and quick to respond. I just provided pintrest photos and colors that I was thinking and Jen worked her magic. I trusted her completely to make my vision come true and she surpassed my expectations! Not only did my wedding look incredible but now I have forever flowers to admire and remind me of the most perfect day. My guests could not believe these flowers were made of wood!

This is your sign to book Robert and Joseph! I'm not one that had a super clear "vision" of what I wanted in wedding florals, so we told them "bright, fun fall" and they sure delivered! They sat with us on zoom for a solid hour just to get to know us, discuss ideas, and mapped out an amazing design for our space. I'm not exaggerating when I say we (and our guests!) were absolutely blown away when we saw it come together! Throughout the process as COVID caused attendance to wax and wane, Joseph and Robert were extremely flexible with changing up table numbers, family florals, etc. And, just personally, they are uniquely kind people to work with. They are extremely warm, communicative, and fun-loving! We couldn't have asked for better!

I can’t recommend Bloom Culture enough. We scheduled a consultation call with them roughly 3 months before our wedding date. Heather was super kind, helpful and professional. She promptly sent us a proposal that fit our budget and matched exactly what we had discussed during our consultation! The resources they shared with us were super helpful, and 3 days before our wedding the flowers arrived in perfect condition! Even though some of my bridesmaids were nervous about DIYing their bouquets, everyone’s turned out so beautiful and unique!!
