“It’s challenging to put into words how much we loved all our wedding flowers and how well they captured our personalities and suited the settings we chose for our ceremony and reception. We’ve been fans of Haley’s work via the Boston Women’s Market for several years now because of her unique and vibrant arrangements that blend classic style with innovative combinations and silhouettes, and she was the first person we thought of for floral arrangements when we started to plan our wedding. Working with Haley is such a delight! She was very patient with us since we don’t know much about flowers ourselves, and was able to create truly stunning arrangements given our chosen colors and themes. We also thought it was really special how she was able to make arrangements for each of our wedding party members that would suit them; we both had all-gender wedding parties and Haley was able to provide boutonnières, bouquets, and cuffs for party members depending on their roles and preferences. As the bride and groom, our favorite parts were the two large arraignments that framed our ceremony and added a lot of personality and definition to our wedding photos. Haley even delivered our flowers to the ceremony and reception venues on the day of our wedding. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! We would highly recommend her for any event.”

“Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with! We got married at a very logistically challenging venue - on an island in Maine only accessible by ferry, and we had two days of events. Despite these challenges, Jessica went above and beyond, figuring out how to get the flowers onto the island a few days in advance, and even renting a refrigerated trailer to keep the flowers fresh before the big day. Leading up to the wedding, Jessica was extremely organized, communicative, and responsive and was always happy to hop on the phone to chat through design or logistical questions. She did a fabulous job of understanding the vision and translating it to designs that complemented the surroundings and were within budget. And I loved her emphasis on local, seasonal florals. She also did a great job of designing arrangements that could be re-used across events (e.g. ceremony to reception), allowing us to maximize the impact of each flower we brought on island. On the weekend of the wedding, she was extremely on top of everything and made sure the venue and our coordinator knew where everything was meant to go. When she handed me my bouquet I almost cried, it was so beautiful! “From start to finish, we had a top-notch experience working with Althea Floral Design. I love that Zoe uses sustainable practices (e.g., no foam) and sources flowers locally whenever possible—she even worked in some favorite flowers grown by a family friend, which made our wedding florals even more meaningful. “Yanique is innovative, brilliant, sweet, and an absolute light in the room. The first conversation I had with this woman, I wanted to work with her. You speak with her, and you can hear her smile; you can tell how passionate she is about this work. In that first conversation, she listened to all the varying thoughts I tried to communicate, and she turned them into ideas. I had about five conversations with Yanique where I said, “I think where I’m struggling is - I don’t know what I want.” I thought I did! I said I liked wildflowers! I said I hated roses! But then she’d show me a bouquet, and I’d say, “oh I like that piece,” and she’d say, “okay…so that’s a rose, just a different color rose.” She was so incredibly patient with my naivety, and she walked me through every possible option we could do. I’d show her something on pinterest, and she’d verbalize all the ways we could possibly make it happen, being communicative about how much it would cost, or she would be honest and let me know if it wasn’t possible. She sent me ideas, color palettes, boutonnieres, and was always ready and willing to hop on the phone. She was even happy to provide feedback on bridesmaid dress colors. She came to meet us at the venue for a walkthrough (a 3 hour drive for her), so that we could meet in person and chat through what we were both thinking. The flowers, as expected, were incredible. From the moment I contacted her she was quick to respond, friendly and calming. Throughout the planning I created a Pinterest board and a few weeks before the wedding sent it to Holly along with final numbers and requests. “There are many florists out there, but how many of them offer flowers they've grown themselves, right from the earth? If you want something super traditional, like a sphere of roses, Isabelle may not be for you. But if you like wildflowers, want to work with a super cool person, and collaborate not only with your vendor, but with the earth itself - this is who you want to work with! Everything Isabelle does has meaning and purpose. On my wedding day, they even foraged some goldenrod that was growing right outside our venue, adding it to the bunches of dramatic, colorful dahlias and unique blooms I don't even know the names of. It was meaningful, gorgeous, and creative. All of the arrangements they made came out came out stunning. Each one was a little different, but everything went together perfectly. I could not pick a favorite. Isabelle was also willing to take on so many little details I hadn't thought of. They provided a really lovely floral cake topper, and put little flowers in each of our guest's napkins. They also have opinions, and will share them when asked- something I like in vendors, who I feel often have the best instincts for what works well. In addition, their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially when you consider how special their work is. In a world of refrigerated carnations...be a wild goldenrod, plucked at golden hour, by a true artist :) Cannot recommend Fairy Meadow Flowers enough!”
