Enjoy the scenic 6-mile drive from SW Rochester on paved roads to a magical place nestled in the rolling hillsides of southeast Minnesota. We’ve owned and operated our family perennial farm with sprawling gardens which has hosted hundreds of weddings for over 25 years. Our new wedding & events facility is a heated & cooled vintage, European-style carriage house to match our existing civil war era (1858!) brick house. The Carriage House can accommodate 150 guests in the warm months and 100 in the winter. The space flows into the gardens and expansive patio area for additional seating. Now booking for year-round events! We do still have room for a 2024 wedding! Now booking 2025.

Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2024 marks our sixth season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building is currently undergoing major renovation and will be completed by April of 2024. The climate controlled space will feature spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

The Ludlow Mansion is steeped in history from the early beginning as a homestead of a 3,000 acre farm and a stop on the underground railroad, to today as a preeminent regional gathering place for great events. Five suites are available for overnight accommodations and access for photos and videos can be obtained in this historic homestead. The Mansion's grounds invite guests to enjoy friends and family under the shadow of its four two-story columned porch or its great white pergola. The Saddle Room bar offers both a comfortable lounge around its famous sunken bar or a patio chair to watch the sunset over the Mansion grounds. Fermenting Cellars Winery, Wedding and Event Venue is an open-air Venue with Canvas sides. 80 ft. by 40 ft. Pavilion. leading up to a patio with a large fireplace and waterfall feature and stone bar. We also have The Shed building which is a climate-controlled building used for smaller groups of 30 or less people, bridal parties, etc. It has a kitchenette, lighted mirrors, a private restroom and comfortable seating. 4 public restrooms on site; 2 large handicapped flush toilets and 2 large, handicapped pit toilets.

We welcome you to Pheasant Valley Barn! The barn is nestled in a scenic valley on the "back farm", away from the daily activities of our dairy operation. The Byrne family started dairy farming in Wisconsin after emigrating from Ireland in the 1870's. In 2003, we decided to renovate our 1890's barn. We added a new metal roof and restored the interior of the barn. To celebrate, we had a barn dance for Duane's parents' 40th anniversary. Thus began "The Party Barn". In the fall of 2018, our son Cory married his fiance, Jenny. It confirmed our idea of starting a barn venue and sharing our barn and farm with others. We have been asked many times, "Why don't you rent out this barn?" We have decided the time is right to diversify our farm and start this event business. We are so happy that we restored our barn. As more and more barns and farms are lost, our barn is preserved and now can be shared with others to create a memorable and special day for your event!
