Traveling has taught me the importance of capturing all the important - big and small - moments to look back on years later. I love capturing those truly candid moments. The kind of photos that put you right back in the moment five, ten, fifty years later. I'm a Southern California-based photographer that will travel wherever you want to document your love! I'm constantly exploring in my hiking boots with laid-back couples that want to capture genuine moments about their relationship. When I'm not taking pictures, you can usually find me hanging out with my people, hiking, watching sitcoms, or taking a spontaneous trip.

I recently was able to work with Emily at a wedding in Winston Salem North Carolina, and she was an absolute loot breeze to work with. She was extremely punctual, kept other vendors, informed of what she was up to, and checked on her tools, nice and tidy. I’m looking forward to the day that I get to work with Emily again for any couples out there looking for a photographer in the North Carolina area and beyond. I definitely recommend Emily.

I’ve been happily married for almost 27 years. I have three awesome sons. My parakeets Kiwi and Sparky are very social, meaning very loud! Champagne (maybe that’s why I love weddings) and sushi lover here! Photography has been my passion ever since my dad gave me my first film camera and introduced me to the dark room at age of 10. I lived in Japan for 12 years, and even performed on a stage there. I’m always up for a great road trip! I love tuna fishing. I love hats and want to wear them everyday (over 20 hats in my collection). I’ve been shooting beautiful weddings for almost 10 years. I secretly cry at every wedding.

Irina is an awesome and experienced photographer which is helpful when you have no idea what to expect on your wedding day. She works with you and your coordinator to make sure you get the shots you want. She even recommended some based on previous weddings she did at our venue. The planning process was straightforward and her rates were reasonable. On the day of the wedding she helped us get ready and reassured us that everything would be okay. She never stopped taking pictures and captured some wonderful moments throughout the night. We anxiously awaited our photos and they turned out better than we expected. She did a wonderful job capturing all the important memories. All of the pictures were gorgeous and she really made you feel special. We definitely recommend her to anyone getting married in the Carlsbad area!

Lauren came out to Utah to shoot my wedding and the overall experience was perfect. She was so easy/fun to work with and made being in front of the camera enjoyable. She even stayed longer to take some of my favorite pictures, from the after party. The wedding pictures came out better than I could imagined and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to be out photographer. Highly, highly recommended!

I am really passionate about my job. I love meeting and connecting with people. Making them laugh and having fun during the photo session is one of my main purposes. I love when clients they tell me they don't like to have their pictures taken, that is a challenge; and I promise I will change their minds. When you put your heart and soul in what you do, everything comes naturally.

She was perfect and detailed. She is a pro and knew exactly what she was doing. She got along with everyone and showed a great time and experience. She knows how to truly capture the perfect moments.

I'm in love with taking photos and I spend all of my time working on fine-tuning my photography but also getting deeper than just taking photos. I am taking photos with the purpose now more than ever. Its been my years of experience that has helped me develop my photography into art and not just a picture taker. From the moment I meet my clients, I want to know as much as I can. Getting closer to a client really transcends into the photographs I am taking of them and their special day.

Toby was fantastic! From beginning to end, he was very professional and accommodating. He artistically captured our special day and worked well coordinating photos with our large families. We love his edits, the angles, creative shots and all of the special candids! We requested a second photographer and a videographer as well; the entire crew was very professional and skilled & worked well together. He was very detailed in gathering information about the specific kinds of shots we wanted, and it was a relatively high bar given that my wife’s dad is a wedding photographer by trade. Toby did not disappoint, and had good chemistry with our family and guests, even connecting with Dad in the process. We're very thankful to have chosen Toby and his team to capture our special day!

Hi there! I'm Khoa, a San Diego based wedding photographer who enjoys spending time with good people and road trips. I love all things weddings because witnessing couples' happiness brings me joy and fuels my creativity. I want to create photographs that can stand the test of time so couples can relive their day years from now and for generations to come.

Khoa is the absolute best photographer!! He has such a natural talent that is hard to describe. He truly captured my husband and I during our engagement photos and wedding in a way that described our love without using words. Both my husband and I are not the most comfortable behind a camera and Khoa has a way of making you forget he is even there. All of our photos felt natural and when you see the finished result it is honestly beyond what you even imagined! Thank you so much Khoa, we can’t wait to work with you and Elise again in the future :)

I love telling the messy, beautiful stories of life and each person’s own unique experience being human. I'm a people-person to my core and I thrive on creating a space where you can feel free to be your incredible self. I want us to know each other as real people, not just as commitments on each other’s calendars. Let's be friends and make photos that are lovely and messy and true. This is an inclusive, anti-racist space for all humans, all love, and all body-types. You, your love, and your story are welcome here. Come as you are.

Ciara is someone who knows the industry and manages to make her clients feel unique, special, and comfortable. I cannot praise her work enough as she made my wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine. We were thrilled!!! She is so kind and detail oriented, I love the way she took the lead and had everyone in my family pose for the family portraits. We had no idea how to coordinate and she took control. That is something you don't think about beforehand and may not anticipate. Having her experience and professionalism made the process smooth, and efficient. Everyone smiled and enjoyed themselves as she captured the moments we will now and forever cherish.

I was raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. I was drawn to photography in middle school and would enter photos of our family pets or family backpacking trips in our local county fair. My passion for photography grew while working as a hiking guide in Yosemite National Park. I mean… who wouldn’t want a stunning photo of Half Dome? El Capitan? Yosemite Falls? I graduated from University of California Davis with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Technology Management. In my free time I like to hike, travel, and watch Friends and The Office. You will most likely find me stuffing my face with either Indian or Thai food.

Katie was absolutely incredible. I could not have asked to have a better photographer. She was so kind, thoughtful, professional, and knew exactly what to do! I can’t thank her enough!

Hey there! I'm Linda. San Diego wedding and portrait photographer. I've been photographing weddings for 5 years and have loved every minute of it. I'd love to chat with you and share how I can help you get the best possible images on your special day while giving you a great experience.

Awarded Best of Zola
I found Linda when I Googled "San Diego Courthouse Weddings". An article came up on why you should have a courthouse wedding, featuring some very simple yet amazing photos Linda captured of a Courthouse Wedding. I contacted her and she called me back the same day. She was inquisitive and asked me what I liked about that shoot and took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for. She strives for excellence and wants nothing more but to delight her clients. She became my mini Wedding planner by offering recommendations for services I needed. I asked her for these referrals and we went with the officiant and videographer she recommended. She provided several recommendations and I needed all the help I could get. She was like a sister and didn't make it about the money. Although, she is worth every dollar and more. She made sure to ask me to make a list of all the group photos I wanted, she didn't want to miss one photo opportunity that was important to me. She is so dedicated and visited our wedding site venue, prior to our wedding date, to assess for the best locations on the grounds and lighting during the time our wedding would take place so she could capture the best portraits. On the day of the wedding, she was of course early and checked in with me at the Bridal Suite to say hello and let me know she was there. After the shoot, she checked in with me, sent the previews before the time she promised and made sure I was completely satisfied. We are extremely happy with our photos and so thankful she was part of our special day.

Halley Vernon Photography

El Cajon, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500

Hi I'm Halley I’m a couples, wedding, and elopement photographer based in San Diego, Big Sur, and Seattle, but I’m ready to follow you anywhere! I was born and raised in the PNW, I’m 28 years old, I have a husband and 2 puppies who I love with my whole heart. I’m an extroverted introvert who loves all-night brewery hangs just as much as home game nights, and my love languages are words of affirmation and sushi.

Halley was our wedding and engagement photographer and the entire experience was amazing, more than we could have asked for. She really captured our personalities and relationship in our engagement photos and leading up to our session she location scouted for us and gave her professional opinion on best time to meet based on sunset and weather. On our wedding day she captured all the in between moments and candid personalities of all our guests, as well as documented all out precious moments. She helped with keeping on schedule during the day, helped me manage any stress I was feeling, and was there to adjust my dress and veil all day long. She was the best investment we made for our wedding day by far and the memories she captured are truly priceless.
