A Little Bit of Green by Lisa LLC

    5.0

    Cincinnati, OH
    • Starts at $900

While learning the art of floral design at a local Cincinnati florist many years ago, I quickly realized how much I enjoyed working on wedding florals! I love the fact that there's nothing but happiness and joy on wedding days. So, for several years, I learned and appreciated different techniques taught to me by my co-workers. As a mom of two though, the time came for me to work from home to accommodate my kids schedules. Fortunately, I was blessed with a few people who gave me a chance on their weddings, and after a few things were figured out, A Little Bit of Green by Lisa was created!

    Awarded Best of Zola
Lisa from Little Bit of Green by Lisa exceeded all expectations for florals on our wedding day. She nailed our vision for the floral aesthetic perfectly!! She was very easy to work with and answered all questions/concerns we had throughout the process very calmly and promptly. I cannot say enough how blown away we were by her flowers. We highly recommend her!

    The Faux Bouquets

    5.0

    Redlands, CA
    • Starts at $175
    • Serves Springboro, OH

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We used Faux Bouquets for our wedding, and the ease of ordering and quality of flowers that we got was great! Everyone complimented the flowers and were surprised that they were fake, and the spring floral suite we got matched our spring wedding perfectly. We got the 'I do' keepsake and the custom cherry blossoms they added to the main bouquet was more than I had hoped for!

We loved working with the Flowerman for our September 2023 wedding! We utilized their DIY services to assemble multiple bud vases, boutonierres, corsages, flower crowns, and bouquets, and we had more than enough left over to make a few extra! The flowers Karlyn helped us pick out ABSOLUTELY made the difference—I would’ve never known what flowers to get, but everything that we chose looked GORGEOUS together. Additionally, I knew I wanted peonies for my September wedding and they are a spring/early-summer bloom only. They let me bring my own fake peonies in order to get the blooms I wanted in conjunction with those in season! I never would’ve imagined I could have as nice fresh flowers for my wedding for the price we got them. The instructions given to us on the assembly day were clear and helpful. While I sometimes wish there was a little more direction given; ultimately, my friends and I had a blast, the flowers looked gorgeous, and I would absolutely recommend working with them. You might struggle a little more if you’re not as “artistic” or don’t have an interest in working with flowers or arrangement, however, if you have artistic and flower-enthusiast friends I can’t recommend them enough!

As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

My husband and I got married in October 2022, and one thing we knew we wanted to do was to support local vendors as much as we could with our budget. Abby and the rest of the Furhmann team were the friendliest people to work with. Not only did they make sure to keep our floral needs within our budget, but they went above and beyond by asking in depth questions about our wedding and wedding vision to ensure that we would get exactly what we wanted; I felt cared about, heard, and valued as a customer. Communication was very easy and I didn’t have to worry about the flowers making it to our venue the day of because they safely and professionally transported our beautiful flowers right to us. The bouquets were better than what I imagined they would be, and I think it’s amazing that the flowers we had on our wedding day were grown and picked by Furhmann Orchards especially for us. Looking back on our wedding day, the florals were my favorite part hands down and I can’t imagine going with anyone else other than Furhmann Orchards. I can’t recommend them enough!

Katie makes the most beautiful handmade paper flowers out of book pages! Her work is thoughtful, whimsical and exactly what I needed for a Harry Potter themed styled shoot. I incorporated her work into a bouquet of real flowers and the results were stunning! Nothing but good things to say :)
