Emma did such an amazing job. The flowers turned out so well, and she took such great care to make sure our day was special. And she was so easy to work with as well. We had very little vision for what we wanted, but she was able to bring things together in such a beautiful way working with us and our coordinator.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Statesboro, GA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Please remember that its DIY flowers, your only buying bulk!!! Our wedding colours were navy and hot pink; we ordered dusty blue and cream "A la Cart" package and added White Ranunculus and Dark pink spray roses. We built: 5 bouts, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet and a flower crown. I still had a large bouquet left over and the pieces that fell off we used to shoot the close up details picture of the invites, rings, dress etc. we had to buy our own materials and we assembled them ourself but I was blown away with how easy it was, their customer service and the quality of products we received. We were a destination wedding coming from Canada to Las Vegas which made me worried but it was the easiest process and best decision we made!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

Lafayette, LA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Statesboro, GA

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Truthfully, I don’t believe I ever inquired with a local florist for our wedding because I already had an idea from other brides (and from order minimums listed online), and I knew I didn’t want to allocate a significant budget to decor, but I also wanted a gorgeous and elegant wedding, which certainly includes florals. I started looking into faux floral options and came across SBB. Once I found this company, I never looked back. We ordered a sample box and also visited a bridal shop in CT that carried some of their pieces to see them in person. We originally selected the Wren collection, but then last year they launched the Eloise collection, which we immediately switched to. The florals were absolutely stunning, and even our friends who knew they were fake, were shocked and confused when they saw them because they thought they were real! The rental process was a breeze. We ended up having the order shipped straight to Owl’s Nest so that we didn’t have to transport it up ourselves. The boxes are labeled so you know exactly what is in each box, and how to pack it back up to ship back. There is also an option to buy some of the pieces and keep them as well if you wanted to keep something for sentimentality. They have a Facebook group (SBB Insiders) where other brides share their photos and any creative ways they used their rentals, which was also so helpful to see the real photos! The company itself also releases how-to videos for various arrangements, and you can even schedule live styling sessions to work one on one virtually to see the pieces and how they would work for you. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone!! I’d also love to use it again in the future for other events!

Jennifer did an amazing job with my flowers! So much had changed planning wise for our wedding but I’m so thankful that even amidst all the craziness I’ve got the flowers I dreamed of (Plus I now get to use them twice!). ❤️ My bouquet and the beautiful floral swags for my frame backdrop got so many compliments - everyone was shocked they were wood! As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

My love affair with flowers began when I was a little girl. My grandmothers garden was always filled with the biggest, most beautiful rose blossoms. You could smell them all the way down the street. Their beauty brought me such joy. I’ve carried it with me all these years. The smell drifts into my daily world and inspired my career designing for special occasions. This recipe of love and memories will bring just the right touch of chic to your next dinner party, wedding, fundraiser or arrangement.

Sharon was fantastic to work with, from start to finish. Easy to communicate with, great price and very creative. She made my bouquet, centerpieces and his boutonnière. Everything was beautiful! Thank you so much Sharon!

In my free time you’ll find me outdoors or begrudgingly rooting for the Jags year after year.

When my wife and I got married she said from the onset that she wanted Madi to do our flowers. I had no real opinions about flowers so I was on board. Day of the wedding Madi was 100% my favorite vendor. She was so easygoing and helpful the whole time. When we were struggling with boutonnieres in the heat she was right there to make sure they looked perfect. Of everyone working at the wedding she was the one I trusted to do a great job the most. The arch she made was beautiful and all of the flowers in our reception looked incredible. She is an absolute must for a wedding. 0% stress 100% results.

Led by Sabrina Johnson, every FLOAT Flora design carries a rhythm -- an understanding of movement and form developed through Sabrina’s years as a dancer. Translating the grounded into the ethereal has become FLOAT’s signature airy style.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used Sabrina at Float Flora for our wedding florals and we couldn’t have picked a better florist for our wedding. She was SO attentive to not only our needs, but our WANTS and vision for the wedding day. I really felt like she cared about what we wanted rather than what would be easiest for her. She had extremely competitive pricing compared to other florists we looked into, which was a major plus for us and gave us SO many options to make sure we had full creative direction with what we wanted. I would consider myself not talented in florals at ALL, but Sabrina made it so easy for us to visualize what they would look like, including putting together mood boards and showing us physical flowers for us to see. Our wedding florals were absolutely gorgeous including my bouquet, my husband’s boutanniere, and all the florals at our reception to make it truly feel like the magical environment we had envisioned for our guests. She is a true professional, working directly with our wedding planner to be able to take things off our wedding planning plate since we had many other things going on. We would absolutely recommend Sabrina and the entire Float Flora team for any couple getting married.
