I have a lot to offer, and I do things differently than most other photographers. More than anything, I want to make sure I’m the perfect fit for your wedding. My style and approach is a generous mix of documentary and editorial-style portraiture. For the majority of the day, I stay very hands off, focusing 100% on the story. You won’t find me asking you or your friends to stage or recreate moments, but you will find me ready to capture those moments before they even happen. During portraits, it’s a little different. I give plenty of direction, working to bring creative ideas and poses to make images that are as unique as the people in them.

Hello! I am Mackenzie. I have been a photographer for over 10 years now and have loved every single second to of it. I live in Villa Park but shoot all over the Chicagoland area and have travelled all over the country for weddings and events! My husband is usually my second shooter and I feel so lucky I get to work with him. I am all about murder mystery novels, Harry Potter and Jurassic Park. I have tattoos and pink hair and love color which I think shows up pretty vibrant in my work!

As much as we are tech/gear heads with regards to equipment, we also know that the greatest piece of equipment any photographer can have is his/her brain. We pride ourselves on using our brains and our gear to not just take pictures, but to tell stories. While pictures, as Dorothea Lange says, “take an instant out of time; altering life by holding it still”, it’s also important that each instant of time is part of a person or event’s story.

I attended Columbia College in Chicago and have a BA in Photography. After graduation, I was asked by a friend if I would photograph her wedding and from that day forward I was hooked on the magic of wedding photography. It is an honor when a couple chooses LMP to capture those memories for them, as I understand that there are a lot of options out there. Over the years I have built such a great relationship with my couples, that many of them come back for portraits as they start their family.

Hej, I’m Anders, originally from Denmark, I made the move to the United States in 2019 to marry my wonderful wife, Kristin. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and I've coupled that with my love for adventure. Whether it's traveling the world, scuba diving, hiking, or ultra running, I've always found ways to incorporate photography into these experiences. However, everything changed for me when I shot my first wedding. Being part of such a special day, filled with love and magic, made me realize that this is what I truly want to do.

I captured my first wedding in August of 2018, it was the day I fell head over heels in love with wedding photography. It's all about capturing the love story for me..the feels from beginning to end. I’ll start off by saying, I’m not nearly as intimidating as my name. In winter of 2017, I married my best friend & now we live in a sweet little suburb just an hour outside of Chicago enjoying the views & peacefulness of living a bit more rural.
