Give your event the royal treatment at Boston University’s Dahod Family Alumni Center at the Castle. This extraordinary Tudor Revival mansion tucked away on Bay State Road, a hidden gem just beyond the bustle of the city and overlooking the Charles River. Completed in 1915, its lavishly furnished and meticulously maintained interior features mahogany paneling, beamed ceilings, a massive fireplace, and crystal chandeliers.

Host an intimate gathering of friends and family, or a grand celebration at the Framingham wedding venue. From the moment your guests enter through the main lobby or the beautiful double grand staircase, they will experience the friendliness of the staff and the elegant surroundings. The Commons Room and Grand Ballroom create an intimate area for weddings up to 150 guests for dinner and dancing. The Promenade, complete with cream colored walls and intricate crown molding, is a perfect venue for your cocktail reception prior to entering the Grand Ballroom for dinner and dancing for weddings up to 300. For larger gatherings, you may choose the entire Grand Ballroom which accommodates weddings up to 500 seated guests with a dance floor. You may also choose to host your gathering in the outdoor space for your special ceremony on the patio during the warmer months. Our building is fed 100% outside air through a multifilter system which include MERV 8 prefilters and MERV 15 final filters at the rooftop units. When the air hits each floor, it is filtered again through a MERV 13 filter at the floor distribution boxes. Our top priority is to ensure your safety and the safety of your guests while dining at Catalyst.

Inside the Hotel has many different photo worthy areas with textured backgrounds and natural light. We are also minutes away from the Charles River and Long Fellow Bridge with the Boston Skyline as a backdrop which makes for stunning photo opportunities.
