The 4200-square-foot Mod House is an architectural gem built in 1959 by a follower of the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows connect the spacious interior to the natural world outside. You can tie the knot on the lawn with a lush forested backdrop. After the ceremony, revel with your guests in Love, Velma, an underground speakeasy and dance club within the venue. The speakeasy comes fully equipped with a bar, projector, stage, and lights. Love, Velma is wheelchair accessible and can host up to 100 guests, with parking available for up to 40 cars. Four bedrooms are available if you prefer to stay on-site on the wedding night. Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Charming, versatile, and ideal for group getaways, retreats, and celebrations of all sizes—from intimate dinner parties, to large scale gatherings and bespoke weddings. ​ The space itself is a newly redesigned, large (6000 SF) house. It was originally built in the 1800s. The outdoor areas can also be incorporated for your event--our deck and yard are completely open-air; you would be welcome to work with a third-party rental company to have a tent set up, if of interest. We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with the option to host an inside ceremony as well.

The restored dairy barn built in 1828 on a 100 acre, family ran, historic venue with modern-day amenities is nestled in the Hudson Valley, NY. It can host up to 150 guests comfortably inside the barn, with additional space on the deck for cocktail hour and an adjacent lawn area for your ceremony. There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. It works perfectly as a bridal suite for everyone to get ready.

The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate.
