Hey there! I'm Fernando Ávila. I founded Ellyce Wedding Films while my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2019. By this point, I had already accumulated 15 years of experience shooting wedding videos and my wife simply couldn't understand why I wasn't booking my own clients. She encouraged me to explore the idea. So, here we are. I named my company after my wife, Ebony Ellyce Ávila.

When I think about the importance of wedding films, I often tell my clients that their wedding film is not necessarily for them. What I mean by that, is that our goal is to create a memory that generations can look back on and say.., “look at Grandma with her girlfriends!!” Or “I didn’t know papa was such a great dancer”. It’s this belief that drives my team and I to go above and beyond to make sure we have the most captured of a wedding day so that the final product remains a cherished memory that everyone can look back on and smile. It all began in 2013! One minute I'm watching the OG Say Yes to the dress at 6:00pm then 4 weddings at 7:00pm and BOOM next day I'm out in the real world filming them! 8 years later I can proudly say that I'm a creative entrepreneur with a video flare!
