In February of 2020 I quit my day job to put 100% of my efforts into my photography business, which was a terrifying but incredibly liberating decision. Hi! I’m Jess. I approach wedding photography with a photo journalistic eye, seeking out the authentic experiences of your day rather than fabricated moments. I shoot mostly film, medium format and 35mm, as well as a little bit of digital, to create timeless imagery that ages gracefully. Alongside weddings, I also run a tintype photography business. I offer the option to add on custom tintype portraits for weddings within a 6 hour driving radius of Portland. I am trained as a fine art photographer, studying at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and SFAI. I now live in the small town of Washougal, WA on the edge of the Columbia River Gorge.
