I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. Hi, Im David! I make photos! I have a bachelor's degree in Film + Digital Media, it sits on a bookcase in my house. I am obsessed with all things photography, cinema, riding bikes, Abby+Laurel, couch dates, talking, laughing, dreaming, and true crime documentaries. Abby is my ride or die. She loves all things makeup, horrible romantic comedies, nature, animals and her family. She is beautiful, supportive, a people pleaser, bad at technology and the funniest person I know. She also is the best Wife and Mom in the world! On Valentines Day, 2020 we welcomed our daughter Laurel into the world. Simply put, she is my greatest accomplishment.

Hey friends! I’m Emma. The moment I realized I wanted to be a photographer forever isn’t this flashy experience or that I “grew up with a camera in my hand all my life.” I was so overwhelmed the beginning of my senior year of high school. At one time in particular I was stressed with the weight of upcoming tests and having a ton of galleries to deliver to clients. I received a text from my friend Tabbi that had an image of a little sketch of a porcupine holding a camera and the message said “is this Emma Hlad?” 😂 it was the cutest thing ever + it made me so excited to edit and work towards this dream.
