Hello! I’m Savannah, the photographer behind Savannah Rose Photography. Photography started out as a fun hobby, but when I was 16 I decided to take a film class in high school and that’s when I realized “this is it”. I have been able to be a full time photographer for 8+ years. I love being able to use my passion for art and photography to help you create uniquely beautiful memories that you will enjoy for years to come. I am definitely guilty of being a bit of a perfectionist which ensures that I do everything I can to give you the best photography experience, whether it be portrait session or on your wedding day.

There is so much planning that goes into your wedding, so many details to bring your perfect day to life. And it is my job to make sure that those details, and all those moments through out the day don’t go unnoticed so you can relive your wedding day over and over again. I’m also happy to help you in any way I can during the planning process. Whether it’s helping you put together a timeline that ensures you won’t be rushed and can enjoy every minute of your wedding day, or simply just an unbiased second opinion. I’ve got you. I also love to travel, so whether you’re getting married at cabin in the Mountains, or villa in Europe, I’m in!

    We have hired Savannah for all of our photography needs from our surprise proposal, engagement session, boudoir, wedding, anniversary, maternity, newborn & family! There is a reason we keep hiring her to capture such important events. She is simply the best at what she does! She captures the emotions perfectly & always delivers the best sessions! She’s great at direction poses and her editing style is always on point! She’s the only photographer we trust to always give us the pictures we want and she makes us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I recommend her to everyone I know and I look forward to our next session together!

    Savannah captured my surprise engagement photos and I couldn't have been more happy with how they turned out. She went above and beyond the entire time and even took time before our shoot to scout out different locations that she thought would work well so we could use all of our time we had with her more efficiently. She also thought of everything and got my fiancé and I a picnic to enjoy as she knew we might be hungry during out shoot and we even utilized that to get some fun photos that are now some of my favorites. She made us feel so comfortable during our time and we loved working with her. Also, she took so many photos and got them back to us insanely quick. She was so amazing that I will be trying to come up with reason to use her again in the future.

    If you’re in need of a photographer, look no further. Savannah has such a great personality that you instantly feel at ease. She has a fantastic eye for detail so all those little shots, the ones you think of and the ones you don’t, will be captured. When it comes to communication, she is personable, friendly, and very responsive. We have used her for just for fun photos, our wedding photos, welcoming our dog to the family, and what seems to be our new tradition having a photoshoot right around the time of our anniversary each year. We have already decided all life events that we want captured, Savannah will be the one we call. You won’t be disappointed!!

    Savannah photographed our proposal as well as our wedding and both sets of photos came out so beautiful! She is the sweetest and so fun to work with! Prior to the wedding she took time to talk to me and make sure we were on the same page for how we wanted the photos to feel and look, what poses or types of shots we might have especially wanted etc. (but was also so good about helping direct us if we got in an awkward posing situation!!) and had beautiful ideas for photos that didn’t just look like every single other wedding picture you’ve seen! She also made sure everything for the day of was coordinated with a photo schedule for our first look and things like the family shots which made everything run smooth and was very stress free for everyone involved. She perfectly timed out when and where we would need to be for the best lighting and even before that (since our photos after the ceremony were off site) made sure that location was just right and would work well. She honestly thought of everything and her preparation was obvious in how perfect the photos turned out! Savannah captured the special parts of that busy day but also little things I was too distracted to really soak in, she’s worth every bit!
