Lead Planner/Designer

Marcea's experience comes to you decades in the making. Having grown up with a wedding coordinator mom, Marcea started coordinating weddings and receptions at a very young age. She went on to plan events with a prominent Seattle restaurant company, and has planned dinners and parties large and small for churches, non-profit organizations, schools, and small businesses, ranging in size from a small gathering to a crowd of 1,000. Her own Christmas parties are legendary, something she also learned from her mom. She brings the same passion to every event, every time.

We are three-generation planners! Marcea works most weddings with her daugher and occasionally her mom will still help out, too. We have decades of experience between us and understand family dynamics!

    Marcea and Natalie were nothing short of amazing through the whole wedding process. The help they provided us was instrumental in the success of our wedding day. They checked in with us frequently and always made sure we had anything we could need. I couldn't say better things about them and will recommend them to anyone I know!!     Marcea was so great to work with for my wedding. She is very detail oriented and made sure everything was perfect for my big day. We had several meetings leading up to my wedding where she made sure every detail was discussed, even things that I had otherwise not thought about. Day of, everything went so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. It seemed like she was always a step ahead, and when I did think about something, she had already been on top of it. I'm so grateful we decided to hire her! She is clearly very experienced in the wedding industry and I couldn't recommend her enough!

    Marcea at MG Event Design is a truly lovely and personable individual. Marcea is highly organized, detail oriented, and has an impeccable eye for design. She listened to my daughter’s vision for her wedding and facilitated every aspect as required to bring the vision to reality. The exceptional capability of MG Event Design was even noticed by our officiant who told my husband that Marcea was the best wedding coordinator he had ever worked with. The wedding was lovely, and I give MG Event Design much of the credit for a magical evening.

    We booked Marcea's event management package for our wedding. She had a flexible schedule and was quick to answer any questions we had during the planning process. She has an extensive history in planning weddings which gives her so much knowledge! Every problem I had she provided a confident and helpful answer. The day of our wedding was seamless. She kept calm and everything ran smoothly with her direction. I would definitely recommend MG Event Design to any couples planning their wedding in the future.
