About this venue
Sitting atop Mariposa Street in historical San Francisco, our beautiful Art Deco building and social club has stood the test of time. Established in 1916, it was once where working class Italian Americans gathered to focus on sports, dances, celebrations, family and community. Our recent 105-year anniversary called upon us to look back at all we have endured: the 1918 Flu, the Great Depression, WWII, 9/11 and now the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic. We have always stuck together to support families and artistic expression in our community – even in the toughest of times.

Verdi Club has a standing capacity of 299 and a dining capacity of 185
Tours are available Wednesday -Friday from 10am-7pm.
Our neighborhood is residential and business-oriented and there are no hotels in the immediate vicinity. The Union Square area offers the closest major hotels.
For private events, you may bring in your own table wine and champagne for a $10 per bottle corkage fee. Outside beer and liquor is not permitted. Outside alcohol is never allowed at public events.
Rentals include tables, chairs, bar staff, on-site manager, event planning support, and cleaning.
You have access to the Verdi Club starting at 10:00am on the day of your event. In some circumstances, we can arrange for you to get in the day before to drop off and store items that don’t take up too much room.
Yes! All decorations must be approved by Verdi Club prior to your event. We do not allow open flame, confetti, or helium balloons.
Our in-house catering is exceptional but we do allow outside caterers with additional fees. All caterers must be approved by The Verdi Club.
Yes. There is a $750 fee for ceremonies to accommodate set-up and clean-up.
Verdi Club is equipped with a world class sound system including monitors, microphones, and a piano.
