I am a DJ, an Emcee, a musician, and a creative. Throughout my 35+ years as a professional musician, entertainer, DJ and Master of Ceremonies, I have had the honor of serving and satisfying some of the most demanding and exacting clients imaginable. I have served countless wedding parties to provide music, entertainment, and direction to their celebrations, corporate events, and receptions. It is and has always been my desire to create and experience that lives beyond the moment. I want music to be the soundtrack to your event or special day with moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.

The Proper Way began when multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriters Shane Osguthorpe and Scott Rogers met while playing a local festival. They established themselves as The Proper Way in 2016, when a promoter invited them to come for a series of shows in Lake Tahoe. After touring nonstop for two years, the band joined forces with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Carrie Myers to release Ain't No Good Thing Ever Dies, a collection of songs by Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, in 2018. The musical connection with Myers was so obvious, and they had so much fun performing and recording as a trio, that Myers joined the band shortly afterwards.

So yes from funk, to Motown, classic rock, Bollywood, EDM, afrobeats, house, blues, reggaeton, latin, cumbias, pop, lo-fi, jazz, alternative, experimental, hip-hop, punk rock, synth. It's also time and place, sometimes you're at the gym and I want rachet music, or you're staring off into the rain and want nothing lyrical. Erica Mancini is one of our top artists at Music Dept. She is a Chicago-land native, born to Argentine parents, who moved to New York City in 2009. Erica has performed as an accordionist, vocalist, and percussionist internationally and throughout the US. Her diverse repertoire includes Jazz, New Orleans Music, French, and German/Bavarian/Oktoberfest. Erica also loves to perform well loved pop songs which audiences would never expect to hear on Accordion. These songs range from 80’s pop anthems to Amy Winehouse covers.
