Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

I'm Jessica! After planning my own wedding, I fell in love with all things wedding & design and began my journey as a wedding coordinator. From there, I decided to learn floral design, and I've been creating beautiful, garden style arrangements ever since. When I'm not designing florals, you can find me spending time with my four cats and two pups, indulging in some Taco Bell, or getting lost in a good romance novel. I believe that the floral arrangements should be a reflection of your personality and style, and I work closely with each of my clients to create designs that are both elegant and unforgettable.

Virginia Floral Design & Events was founded by Tina Dolan in Virginia Beach and specialize in weddings and events ranging from small intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Tina and her team work with each client individually to ensure that every detail is a reflection of them and the occasion, never creating the same design twice. We LOVE to celebrate! Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.
