My journey in event planning began 9 years ago after completing my undergraduate degree in event planning and hospitality management, along with a minor in business and law. Later, I earned a master's degree in business and project management, which has helped me to gain a comprehensive understanding of planning.

I am Becca Byrd, owner and founder of Love Byrd events. I started Love Byrd after 10+ years of personal and professional event planning. I have spent the last decade in New Haven working as an event planner for a large university as well as serving on governing boards of a variety of local non-profits. I have worked on conferences, fundraisers, concerts, parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate meetings, weddings and much more. I have loved crafting a vision while simultaneously working on all of the tiny details to make that happen.

Welcome! My name is Sam Roccapriore, Owner of Rose Rocc Weddings & Events. I am a certified meeting professional with over 10 years experience in the events industry. When I am not wedding planning, I enjoy baking delicious treats (French macarons are my favorite), kayaking and lifting weights (it helps that my partner is a strength and conditioning coach!).
