We are a German Lager-style brewery with a full bar and a full menu, a private event space that accommodates up to 60 guests, and other options for up to 120 guests. We specialize in casual cocktail-style events with a variety of small plate and buffet options for groups up to 120. As a family-owned and operated business, we deeply understand the importance of coming together of loved ones and how special those times are. The Barn on the Pemi is a fully restored and renovated mid-1800’s barn. The West Mountain Inn was originally built as a farmhouse in 1809. From 1880 to 1920, first a gristmill and then a lumber mill were operated on the Battenkill River at the foot of the mountain. In 1904 Ned and Gwendolyn Rochester purchased the 150 acre farm and began to transform it into an elegant summer estate. After a succession of other residents the estate later became an arts and retreat center.
