The Felt Estate is a historic wedding venue nestled in the dunes along Lake Michigan, between Holland and Saugatuck, Michigan. The expansive estate features the majestic 1920's Felt Mansion, the Rustic Carriage house, and the quaint Chapel at Shore Acres. All around this beautiful architecture are carefully manicured grounds, a grotto, and lush gardens. The Felt Mansion boasts modern amenities, seasonal tents, and optional overnight accommodations. Built in 1871, and restored with love, our event center sits on one countryside acre, just minutes from downtown Kalamazoo. Included 30 handmade Amish tables & chairs, pond w/fountain, outdoor chapel w/church bell, 3 covered porches w/gas fireplace on one, paved parking lot, 2 indoor handicapped bathrooms, & 2 air-conditioned wedding party rooms. We only use The Liquor Cabinet for alcohol. You may bring in your own insured food caterer. The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained.
