It is a large wedding venue able to host large events. win Gables Event Center is easy to get to and well-connected to the surrounding areas. Upon arrival, your guests will surely be endeared by the venue’s scenic setting. They will be treated to a panorama of picturesque farmland, a beautiful backdrop for an open-air ceremony. We have a beautiful new pergola that is very grand for ceremonies. After your ceremony, you can head into the barn to enjoy your after-party. Combining classic and contemporary stylistic details, this versatile barn is a wonderful place to wine, dine, and dance the night away. And if dancing isn't your thing, hang out on the deck with the table fire going.

Built in 1928, as an Elks Temple, this property has been beautifully restored and renovated, while keeping its original character and charm. Climate-controlled for all-season events, on-site tables and Chiavari chairs are included for up to 200. Enjoy the flexibility of using cater of choice, and the freedom to bring in your own beverages and spirits.

There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. At Blissful Barn your wedding experience will bring you back in time 125 years to the rustic elegance of the mid 1800's. Set back in the middle of corn and wheat fields on a dead end road, where all you hear is a gentle breeze of the wind rustling the leaves.

Rental price includes day before event to set up, event day and day after to tear down. Tables and chairs for 130 provided. Access to museum property for ceremony and pictures. Camping available for guests at an extra cost. Wedding couple camp free. Not available during museum events which include second weekend in June, and from Labor Day to third weekend in September.
