Botanical Preserves

5.0

Sacramento, CA
  • Starts at $3,500

Sophia is the creative force behind Botanical Preserves. Raised in an artistic household, she’s worked with multiple mediums over the years, with five years of experience in floral design. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. Their nature of fragility adds to their elusiveness, and gives her the opportunity to exhibit the never-to-be-replicated side of her personality every time she works with floral product.

I got married in Florida and planned my wedding kind of fast which lead to so many things going wrong in my wedding but the one thing that went absolutely perfect and delivered more than I could've ever asked for was my florist Sophia! She was honestly what kept and brought everything together in the end! I let her do her thing and she was very professional and really has an eye to make her arrangements look like works of art! I honestly wish I could've kept my bouquet forever it was gorgeous and to this day when I show my wedding pictures everyone is amazed at the work she did! After working with her on my wedding day I would definitely recommend Botanical Preserves for your special events! I do not know what I would've done without her I am so grateful for everything she did for me :)

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Rancho Murieta, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I decided to use Flower Moxie because we knew we didn’t want typical wedding flowers and loved that it helped us keep costs down! We loved all the options and helpful step by step directions (we were total flower novices!). An added plus was the collaboration process with friends and family when making our table bouquets and other decorations. One recommendation would be to read ALL the helpful directions and tips from Flower Moxie and to make sure you’re not the only one who knows!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

Lafayette, LA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Rancho Murieta, CA

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Don’t even think about spending thousands on real flowers. These silk flowers were incredible and I LOVED using Something Borrowed Bloom. Everything came in fantastic shape, the process was fairly easy. My only advice would be to make sure you know who will be shipping everything back the next day and to have someone who’s responsible in charge of collecting the boutonnières and bouquets at the end of the night ! The flowers were gorgeous. We rent them for bouquets, boutonnières, garland, cake table decor and used the bridesmaids bouquets as the center pieces. Saved a ton of money and no one could tell they were silk flowers until you said something. Would highly recommend!

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I have worked in the wedding industry as a calligrapher for almost 10 years and Victoria was a truly talented professional. I recommend SunCanyon Florals with the highest regards. The entire process, from ideation and vision boarding, to the day-of execution was flawless. Her creative eye and talent did not disappoint. I wanted COLOR at our wedding and the flowers were better than we could have imagined. Numerous guests commented that the florals were their favorite part of the wedding and made the day what it was. She sourced the majority of the flowers locally which was meaningful for us. Victoria's gently confident presence was lovely and made for an enjoyable experience for all involved. We sat down together and pulled images that inspired us, she provided us a visual quote with images of the flowers she planned to use and the scope of each piece, and we prioritized pieces together to stay within our budget. My bouquet, the ceremony arrangements, and the men's pocket squares were some one of my favorite pieces. The bar moment and table arrangements were equally stunning. The day-of, SunCanyon's set up was flawless. The venue coordinator commented on Victoria's professionalism and stated that she was a vendor she would love to work with again. A true compliment from a seasoned professional. SunCanyon was our favorite vendor and we would work with her again in a heartbeat!
