Our wedding was beautiful! The best part was our wedding coordinator, Jocelyn. Going into planning, I wasn't sure what to expect, but she has gone above and beyond to make my wedding a special one. We had a morning wedding, and she arranged to allow us to set up during our rehearsal time the day before, as well as personally had several long phone calls and zoom meetings over our planning period to make sure our vision came to life. She sent constant emails with advice and direction, as we were an out of state couple. She was a complete delight interacting with our guests, and also happened to be our florist. My bouquet was everything I dreamed of, and her and my mother went behind my back to fill the venue with beautiful flowers that made our day the garden wedding of my dreams. While I was not able to bring my bouquet back to my home state, I still have the ribbons she tied around it as a reminder of how special that day was to me. Whatever you're paying her, it's not enough!

A few big game changers for me were: - she knew what I needed to know about and what issues I could be in the dark about - she quickly and calmly brought issues I did need to be involved with to my attention with a few solutions already in mind - she was very knowledgeable on vendors in a range of prices since we had a large budget for some things, like photo, but a small budget for things like floral - the total coordination and communication she had with all of our venders was amazing. I did not have to worry about them at all after I booked them, She took over ensuring they felt comfortable and informed 100/10 would recommend and would use again!!

It took me a few weeks to write this review. Nothing I wrote seemed like enough to fully explain our gratitude to Andy & Double A Weddings & Events!! Andy was an absolutely amazing collaborator on how to make our wedding day OURS. Nothing was off limits, too crazy or too non-traditional. Andy was extremely gracious & patient w/any questions we had or curveballs we threw at her. I was frozen & overwhelmed trying to plan our wedding on my own, the best thing I did for our wedding (besides snag the groom) was hiring Andy & Double A! Not only did she bring a wealth of knowledge on weddings & overall event planning, but she was incredibly organized, attentive, responsive, professional, easy to work with & most importantly (to me, at least) was able to bring my stress level down w/just a “touch base” call or email so I knew we were doing great w/our timeline. Teyanna and Essence of Flair was truly an answer to prayer. I had a vision of what I wanted for my wedding day and she executed it perfectly. From our first meeting, she listened attentively and made sure she understood the assignment. Teyanna never tried to push her own agenda, what I wanted was always top priority. She was patient and also provided insight that helped me not only in the decor of my venue but in other areas of my wedding. Teyana was absolutely amazing. My wedding ceremony and reception were perfectly decorated and they exceeded my expectations. When I walked into the ceremony and reception area I said this is what I wanted. Cassy is a true magician! Her eye for design and ability to capture the essence of her clients and translate it into their event production is a true gift. My now-husband and I hired her for our wedding event design and I immediately noticed that she and I operated with different baselines (she is calm & collected while I am an anxious, type A mess!). I truly appreciated her ability to reassure me through each step of the process and help me understand the steps as a first time bride. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings (from full planning to day-of coordination), a large gala for non-profits, an annual fundraiser, a memorial service (for 300+ guests) and a surprise birthday party.

I booked her way back in 2018/19 for our August 2020 wedding. Due to COVID restrictions (which she kept us with for us) we had to postpone our reception twice and both times she kept up with our vendors to keep them informed.
