I'm Chrysa- a self-taught photographer since 2014. My entire life I've always been in love with taking pictures. Whether it was using a Polaroid as a kid, bringing the ole digital point & shoot along to the bars in college (until I dropped it in a vodka RedBull - RIP) or finally growing up & buying my first big girl DSLR in my early 20s, I have always had a flare for anything creative. I did not not grow up with a camera in my hand knowing I wanted to be a photographer. I started with photography by photographing Punk/Hardcore bands but eventually stopped photographing those shows because I didn't want my camera gear to get broken by someone stagediving. Being apart of that music scene help me cultivate friendships with people all over the world, and gave me lots of travel opportunities. Those experiences carried over into weddings helping me understand real documentary style moments and being comfortable surrounded by new people.
