Situated just a short 20-minute drive from downtown Kansas City, 1890 Weddings + Events stands as a distinguished 16-acre wedding and event venue, recognized for its historic charm and elegance. The property boasts two distinct private wedding venues, each featuring outdoor ceremony spaces, bridal suites, groomsmen quarters, and enchanting reception halls. The main venue, 1890, showcases a splendid grand ballroom adorned with chandelier lighting, a versatile cocktail barn, and ample space to accommodate up to 350 guests comfortably including overnight options. Positioned at the property's entrance is a captivating Victorian Era home, originally constructed in 1872 and tastefully remodeled in 1890, offering a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

Our rural wedding venue housed on our property is a slice of the country close to the city. Located in Western Olathe near Kill Creek Park we are near major highways while still being able to dance under the view of the stars. With horses on the property, it is the perfect backdrop for the wedding of your dreams. Come see us!

Our venue offers an all wood Amish barn, tucked back in the trees, next to Emma creek. The numerous mature trees, multiple flower beds and 2 fire pits offer a wonderful outdoor atmosphere! The barn features a kitchen, a bar, men’s and women’s restrooms, a loft, a covered deck and a large area for dining and dancing. The barn can hold up to 200 people and has the option for an indoor ceremony, should the need arise. The outdoor space features a limestone stage for a ceremony, plenty of space for yard games, an outdoor dinner, outdoor dancing or hanging out by the fire pits. The outdoor party lighting provides a great atmosphere after dark. We have two parking areas, 1 large lot for guests and a smaller area for the wedding party and handicap parking.  Included in all packages: Chairs and tables for 200 people, bar stools, cocktail tables, wooden spools, arbors and use of the fire pits. We recently added a beautiful 3 bedroom log cabin available with our wedding packages!

Corinthians Hill is a rustic yet elegant space, with the capacity to accommodate up to 500 of your guests. This 9,800 sq. ft. Venue is covered with reclaimed wood and corrugated tin that we tore down from three different old barns around Kansas. To give it a more “shabby chic” feel. In addition, crystal chandeliers and Edison lights were strung from the ceiling to complete the look! Corinthians Hill sits on 14 acres of beautiful Kansas land with breathtaking views, sunsets, and sunrises that offer the most beautiful backdrops for any occasion! Did we mention we have a pond? That’s right, we do! Whether using it as a unique backdrop for your pictures or to hold your ceremony, this pond is sure to bring your guest together all year around! Welcome! Carbon Creek specializes in weddings, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies. Located in Southeast Kansas, our venue has over 6000 square feet of event space and is ideal for up to 400 people. The crowning feature of our space is a large sunken wooden dance floor with mirrored ceilings and built-in sound and lighting systems. Our wedding packages include the services of four different vendors in one cost: DJ and MC, bartender, wedding coordinator, and cleaning crew. We also offer decor rentals in addition to our services.

Located in Peculiar, Missouri, The Dogwood Gardens is a modern take on a rustic-style wedding event venue. The property is inclusive of eight and a half acres, full of scenic nature and ideal photo backdrops. Inside, couples will find separate get-ready spaces as well as a staircase tucked under a stunning balcony that leads back to the primary celebration area. ​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have 30+ years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name. ​ If you go back even further, our property was granted to a young man in 1857 as part of the “ScripWarrant Act of 1847.” At that time, public land was gifted through this Act to military personnel for their service in the Mexican-American War.

Our renovated 100-year-old tobacco barn is the ideal backdrop for your best day ever.
