Whether it is the standard grouping of Violin, Violin, Viola and Cello or a hybrid ensemble with harp or guitar, our players are well versed in both classical and contemporary repertoire. We also have Electric String Quartets. Some clients opt to have the group play acoustic for the ceremony and switch to electric instruments for cocktail hour.

Our Hoppin’ John Steel Band performs Calypso, Soca, Reggae, Carnival, Belafonte, “Beach Music” and standard American selections as well. Instrumentalists in this group include steel drums (or “pans”) of various sizes, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, keyboard, horns, vocalists, limbo dancers and other specialists added for special occasions.

The Celtic Balladeers perform all styles of Irish and Celtic music. In the above sound clip they are captured live (VERY live) on St. Patty’s day at Coogan’s on Broadway. Erica Mancini is one of our top artists at Music Dept. She is a Chicago-land native, born to Argentine parents, who moved to New York City in 2009. Erica has performed as an accordionist, vocalist, and percussionist internationally and throughout the US. Her diverse repertoire includes Jazz, New Orleans Music, French, and German/Bavarian/Oktoberfest. Erica also loves to perform well loved pop songs which audiences would never expect to hear on Accordion. These songs range from 80’s pop anthems to Amy Winehouse covers.

I enjoy learning my clients' favorite songs so that their wedding day feels extra special. I am able to play a variety of different music genres (top 100 hits, music from Bridgerton, hip hop, R&B, EDM, rock, big band, & classical) and can perform on my electric violin with your DJ for your reception. I am able to provide my own Bose sound system which can be battery-operated for outdoor areas."

As for me, I am a Brooklyn native, who during the pandemic was able leave corporate career to pursue my passion of music. Topu Lyo and Randy Bergida began performing together in 1999 when their friends and siblings started getting married. With each event came many personal requests for music and they discovered their knack for arranging any type of song and founded the cornerstone of New York Ceremony Music with their custom arrangements on cello and guitar. Kelsey Foeller is a violinist from Rhode Island. Kelsey has been performing at wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, engagements as well as private events for over six years all over Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. Kelsey is a classically trained violinist with over 20 years of experience. She has been featured as a soloist with the Rhode Island College Chamber Orchestra. Kelsey was the concertmaster of the University of Rhode Island Symphony Orchestra. In addition, Kelsey has played with various orchestras in the state of Rhode Island including the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Ocean State Orchestra, and Warwick Symphony Orchestra.
