Our event space is perfect for Baby showers, Bridal showers, and small receptions. What started as a photo studio for the Farmhouse Photography crew, became a venue dream when the owner found a stunning historical location nestled in the heart of Olde town Altoona Iowa. Built in 1900, this gorgeous space went under some minor renovations to allow an open floor plan, ample light, and lots of farmhouse chic charm. We look forward to serving our bridal shower groups here in our brand new space!

Our Century Old Red Barn breathes authenticity. Built in 1898, you will be drawn to the wood-pegged hand-hewn beams the moment you step through the immense sliding barn door into this stunning space. An exquisite crystal chandelier adds elegance to our rustic character. During your 3-day rental, you may celebrate slowly; host your rehearsal dinner on-site for no extra charge, enjoy your wedding and reception the next day, and leave the cleaning for the final day. Our spacious venue seats over 300 guests, in addition, our well-groomed lawns are for the perfect setting for the outdoor ceremony you desire. We are nestled within acres of rolling open countryside. From our large pergola deck, the sunsets over the surrounding fields are breathtaking, often reflected off the surface of our small lake. Charming and well-appointed Bridal and Groom's dressing suites are available. We boast of a large catering kitchen with abundant counter space and appliances.

The Alta House Event Center is a hidden gem conveniently located off I-80 and 37 minutes East of Des Moines. Conveniently located near several hotels within minutes of your venue for your guests, overnight accommodations are also available right on site. We are surrounded by plenty of photo ops, such as our on-site pond, heavily wooded areas, the Thirty-acre park, open fields, and breathtaking sunsets as your backdrop. We have several packages available no matter your budget; we will find the right package for you. The most popular package is our "Wedding Weekend Package," providing full access for 48 hours, allowing you the freedom to host rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and even brunch the following morning, all in one convenient location. Located in the heart of West Des Moines, an event at Decades will not only create memories but ones that last a lifetime. Our specially designed space blends the antiquated with the modern and offers over 5,000 square feet of space for up to 225 guests. If you decide to host your next event at Decades, your investment will give you two on-site suites that offer the perfect place to get ready, the option to rent additional in-house decor, a fully stocked bar with optional packages for your guests, an event lead for the day of your event, and so much more! Also included, for your convenience and ease when planning your event, is ample parking in our adjacent lot. While we take care of set up and tear down, we are also more than happy to assist with any other needs you may have while planning the perfect event. Carper Winery is a rural venue just minutes from the Metro! The property comprises of 40 acres, complete with not only the Venue but a lush Vineyard, Willow trees, two ponds and tall golden prairie grass. Outdoor ceremony lawn with Pergola. Ceremony site overlooks the large pond, vineyard and beautiful hillside to create a picturesque backdrop. The climate controlled indoor space can seat up to 300 of your friends and family members to enjoy a beautiful dinner in your honor. We ensure to take care of your day as if it was our own. We have gorgeous indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options, beautiful furnishings, an outdoor patio area, a bridal suite and groom lounge rooms, and vendor relationships all across Iowa to help you bring your vision to life.

The 1868 Farmhouse is a gorgeous wedding venue nestled in the Iowa countryside, just 15 minutes outside of Ames and 45 minutes from Des Moines. Our weekend rental is three days long and includes access to the space from Friday 1PM-Sunday 1PM. Enjoy plenty of setup time, a gorgeous space to host your rehearsal dinner, multiple ceremony locations, a gorgeous reception hall and finally, a place to host a farewell breakfast or brunch for your guests. All rentals include custom-built farmhouse tables, wooden cross back chairs, customized layout planning, setup and teardown, getting ready suites, overnight accommodations, two bartenders, tableware, linens, multiple ceremony locations, AV system, two bartenders, shuttle service rental and more!
