My journey in event planning began 9 years ago after completing my undergraduate degree in event planning and hospitality management, along with a minor in business and law. Later, I earned a master's degree in business and project management, which has helped me to gain a comprehensive understanding of planning.

While I offer planning services for all types of events, weddings are my absolute favorite. I love working with people. I love making them laugh. I love love and I love watching each event unfold. This is literally my dream job and I am so grateful that I get to work in this amazing industry.

I am Becca Byrd, owner and founder of Love Byrd events. I started Love Byrd after 10+ years of personal and professional event planning. I have spent the last decade in New Haven working as an event planner for a large university as well as serving on governing boards of a variety of local non-profits.
