I began DJing in 2016 with my friend Jerry after discovering a mutual love for electronic dance music from the likes of Zedd, Martin Garrix, and Hardwell. I've found an overwhelming passion in DJing and event coordinating, so much so that I've worked tirelessly to do it full-time since 2021. Jimmy and The Hat Tricks is an award winning 7-piece WEDDING, PARTY and CLUBENTERTAINMENT band from HARTFORD, CT - with 4 lead vocalists - (2 male and 2 female), backingvocals, guitar, bass, drums, keys and a horn/percussion player (Trumpet/Sax/Bongos/percussion). Henry is a Multi culture International DJ & Entertainer with over 25 Years in Business. Not only a professional DJ, but also skilled as an MC / Entertainer. Starting his career as a club DJ in Hartford Connecticut in 1990, Henry transitioned to a mobile DJ in 1998, performing for events and multy cultural festivals. He has won numerous awards as a DJ since he started mixing music. Henry has a great passion for entertaining the crown and making sure they have a great time. Austin Charnis is a classical guitarist from Hudson Valley, NY. He specializes in providing both traditional and contemporary music in any style for wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and micro-reception. He has a robust song list to choose from, and can learn special requests on demand. Austin provides all of his own professional grade music equipment, and can provide ceremony sound services/microphones for your officiant, vows and readings.

My philosophy for music is, "You bring the dancers and I'll bring the music".  I'll take your requests and my years of experience and turn your wedding into something your guests will never forget.  In order to play the right song at the right time, it's all about observation and knowing your crowd.  As I am selecting and mixing songs, I am attentive to everyone's reaction. Years of performing gives me an understanding of action and reaction... an easier way to put it is, I know how to rock the socks off your wedding!

We are a husband and wife team located in New Haven, Connecticut who have played over 1000+ weddings and hire professionals from the top orchestras in New England. As a modern couple ourselves, recently married in May of 2021, we are very familiar with the process on both sides.
