I believe experiences outweigh possessions. I have a slight obsession with making my dog pose on random objects, just so I can upload the photo to Instagram. I wish to one day make out in a hot summer rainstorm. I collect nearly empty perfume & lotion bottles that I will never finish. Their smells bring back so many good memories. I believe the relationships that inspire you the most should be the ones held closest to your heart.

My name is Mark and I created “This Insane Idea” with the vision that anything is possible. I've had a passion for photography my entire life, capturing moments around me in the most authentic ways until one day my wife told me “go full time”, it was insane. I fell in love with wedding photography and the emotion it brought out for everyone involved. Family, love, laughter and memories are four things that I think about on a daily basis, I’m practically addicted. When I’m not obsessing over wedding photography I am spending time with my wife Brittany, two sons and our two huskies. We look forward to capturing your day!

I never dreamed of being a wedding photographer. I thought it was all the same, you show up to a venue, photograph different couples in the same poses every weekend and after is all said and done never see them again. However one day while I was taking photographs of people I loved and cared about it clicked! I could photograph couples who I truly got along with, who just want to have a great time on their wedding day. Couples who want to be themselves. Couples who I could consider friends, not clients. Hello my name is Chris and I am the Owner/Lead Photographer here at Christopher Dennis Photography. Growing up I was never one to be found in front of the camera, but always behind it. I loved being able to capture the special moments in my family’s lives, from birthdays to graduations and everything in between. Now I strongly believe that every moment captured is uniquely special and deserves the upmost attention to detail. I treat each client as if they were my own family and strive to give them the best experience possible from initial contact to product delivery and beyond.

I started in photography much as everyone else did. What was once a hobby in 2002 quickly became a passion. I started out with a 35mm film set up and would hang out in the city capturing candid moments of people going about their day to day lives. For me, it was like stepping outside the world around me and documenting it like looking through a window into a world I was no longer part of. In 2008, when I myself got married, I realized that a wedding day is one of the most emotional moments for a couple. Not only for them but for the families involved as well! It was Oct. 31st, 2008 when I shot my first wedding. I haven't looked back since.
